Traveling by car

Erfurt is located near the crossing of the national highways A4 and A71 and is served by the state roads B4 and B7. Within Erfurt one should use Gothaer Platz as a nearby landmark for orientation. If coming from the East, South, North, or airport, follow the signs for the ›Messe/EGA‹. As you enter the city and pass the Messe, MDR Broadcasting Studio, and EGA you will arrive at Gothaer Platz. From there you will see signs for the parking lot S-Finanzzentrums. On workdays it is best to use the parking lot as it is difficult to find a spot on the street. To reach bm|t it is best to exit the parking lot on foot using the exit ›Gorkistrasse‹.
