Investor Days Thüringen is the most important annual event bringing aspiring start-up and growth stage companies together with investors in the federal state of Thüringen. The event is co-organized by the Stiftung für Technologie, Innovation und Forschung (STIFT) and bm-t beteiligungsmangement Thüringen (bm|t), the largest venture capital and private equity investor focused on investments in the free state of Thüringen.
This year´s event attracted total attendance of 400 and featured over 50 company pitches and presentations and an additional 30 companies that presented their stories in an innovation arena. Investor Days Thüringen has grown in importance for private investors who have started to recognize the compelling, under-the radar investment opportunities in Thüringen. Kevin Reeder, CEO of bm|t stated of this year´s event that “we are happy to have smashed the previous record for investor attendance and see a clear trend towards more investors putting Thüringen on their maps.” Reeder continued, “fayteq´s sale to a social media giant from Silicon Valley and InflaRx´s Nasdaq IPO have clearly done wonders for attracting investors attention to the green heart of Germany.”
Past events have led directly to significant investments for young innovative companies. Stephan Beier, Investment Manager at bm|t, stated “over the past years we have witnessed an ever increasing amount of invested capital being directly tied to this event.” He elaborated, “we, and the guests we already received feedback from, were very impressed by the poise of the presenters and the high level of corporate substance on display at this year´s event.”
The date for Investor Days Thüringen will be set in the coming months and the STIFT and bm-t will be publishing the save-the-date notice on relevant media channels. Those interested in learning more about bm-t can visit the company´s website at www.bm-t.com or connect with bm-t on LinkedIn or XING.
