Together with LEG Thüringen, the German-American Chamber of Commerce Chicago and Molex Inc., bm|t organized a business trip to Chicago and Detroit last week. Eight high-tech companies and research institutes from the state of Thuringia in the fields of optics, sensors, materials, measurement technology and machine building were able to present to companies such as Molex, Inc., Ford Motor Company, Fiat-Chrysler and a number of other global corporations. The focus was not only on the exchange of contacts, but also on intensive technical discussions with specialists from the R&D departments and corporate development.
The two participating bm|t portfolio companies FBGS Technologies GmbH and Intercept Technology GmbH were also able to discuss numerous promising new opportunities for transcontinental coöperation.
