Innovative Thuringian companies connect with companies in Chicago and Detroit

Together with LEG Thürin­gen, the Ger­man-Amer­i­can Cham­ber of Com­merce Chicago and Molex Inc., bm|t orga­nized a busi­ness trip to Chicago and Detroit last week. Eight high-tech com­pa­nies and research insti­tutes from the state of Thuringia in the fields of optics, sen­sors, mate­ri­als, mea­sure­ment tech­nol­ogy and machine build­ing were able to present to com­pa­nies such as Molex, Inc., Ford Motor Com­pany, Fiat-Chrysler and a num­ber of other global cor­po­ra­tions. The focus was not only on the exchange of con­tacts, but also on inten­sive tech­ni­cal dis­cus­sions with spe­cial­ists from the R&D depart­ments and cor­po­rate development.

The two par­tic­i­pat­ing bm|t port­fo­lio com­pa­nies FBGS Tech­nolo­gies GmbH and Inter­cept Tech­nol­ogy GmbH were also able to dis­cuss numer­ous promis­ing new oppor­tu­ni­ties for transcon­ti­nen­tal coöperation.
