Rotorvox kicks off crowd investing campaign
On July 9, 2015, the largest funding project so far this year will kick off on the equity crowd investing platform Seedmatch. “We, Rotorvox, deliberately waited for our final airworthiness certification, also known as a type certificate, to launch our crowd investing campaign,” said Rotorvox CEO Ronald Schoppe. “This is a sign to crowd investors that we have been successful in our past four years of development,” he added. As an additional positive signal to potential investors, the first Rotorvox gyrocopters were delivered to their new owners.
With their full carbon gyrocopters approved in Germany in June, Rotorvox wants to open up a new global segment in the market for ultralight aircraft. Another promising sign was the positive reception at the aviation trade show AERO 2015 this past April, with numerous non-binding reservations and the first sales since the final airworthiness certification.
“The dream of flying fascinates many people. Rotorvox’s innovation zeroes in on an exciting market gap between less powerful gyrocopter models and more expensive aircraft. Everyone can empathize with Rotorvox’s vision – a prerequisite for successful crowd investing,” said Jens-Uwe Sauer, founder and CEO of Seedmatch, from his experience of 80 successful financing rounds so far on the online platform.
With Seedmatch, Rotorvox plans to raise a seven-digit Euro sum. The capital will be used for the build-out of global sales and marketing and for further developments to open up additional markets. “Crowd investing offers us the opportunity not only to receive fresh capital but also to allow everyone to participate in our idea and vision. The Seedmatch platform offers us a vast network of ambassadors who want to promote Rotorvox as eagerly as we do. We are excited about what we will achieve with the support of the crowd,” said Schoppe.
Rotorvox’s crowd investing campaign can be previewed immediately at www.seedmatch.de. Starting July 9, 2015, at 12:00 p.m., it will be open to everyone for investments of €250 or more.
