On November 9, 2015, bm|t (beteiligungsmanagement thüringen GmbH) was awarded the management of two new funds with a total volume of €56.3 million, to be invested in Thuringian start-up and growth companies over the next five years.
The Thüringer Start-up-Fonds / Thuringia Start-up Fund (TSF) has a volume of €18.8 million and can accept minority investments of up to €1.2 million in young, innovative start-up companies from Thuringia (max. 5 years old), preferably together with private co-investors.
The Thüringer WachstumsBeteiligungsFonds / Thuringia Growth Fund (WBF) focuses on innovative and fast-growing Thuringian companies (max. 8 years old) and can invest up to €4.0 million per company. The fund has a volume of €37.5 million. Investments from the WBF require at least a 50% participating co-investment from private investors.
