For the second time an Investment Manager of bm|t has mentored a team of young students at the competition JugendUnternimmt! This competition ( aims at 14 to 21 year old students with the goal to promote their entrepreneurial thinking and to gain a first experience with building and managing a business.

In this years’ final round, Stephan Beier (Investment Manager at bm|t) coached the team “CreBags” from Goethegymnasium Weimar, consisting of Mara Kneisz (17) and Laura Ziemke (17). Their idea was to produce and sell handmade and individually designed bags.

Stephan Beier supported the team in improving the business concept, developing a business plan, calculating the products and marketing and selling the products on the final sales day at Anger 1 in Erfurt.

The coöperation with our mentor has helped us a lot and his ideas and advice was a great support in converting our initial idea to a great success” the students said. „It was amazing to see how committed and professional all teams of the competition – despite of their young age – worked on the realization of their ideas.“ Stephan Beier added.

The team „CreBags“ successfully finished the final round of the competition and was awarded with the special prize for the most creative product design and product presentation.
