bm|t supports successful team at student competition JugendUnternimmt!

In this years’ final round, Stephan Beier (Invest­ment Man­ager at bm|t) coached the team “Cre­Bags” from Goeth­e­gym­na­sium Weimar, con­sist­ing of Mara Kneisz (17) and Laura Ziemke (17). Their idea was to pro­duce and sell hand­made and indi­vid­u­ally designed bags.

Stephan Beier sup­ported the team in improv­ing the busi­ness con­cept, devel­op­ing a busi­ness plan, cal­cu­lat­ing the prod­ucts and mar­ket­ing and sell­ing the prod­ucts on the final sales day at Anger 1 in Erfurt.

„The coöper­a­tion with our men­tor has helped us a lot and his ideas and advice was a great sup­port in con­vert­ing our ini­tial idea to a great suc­cess” the stu­dents said. „It was amaz­ing to see how com­mit­ted and pro­fes­sional all teams of the com­pe­ti­tion – despite of their young age – worked on the real­iza­tion of their ideas.“ Stephan Beier added.

The team „Cre­Bags“ suc­cess­fully fin­ished the final round of the com­pe­ti­tion and was awarded with the spe­cial prize for the most cre­ative prod­uct design and prod­uct presentation.
