Fresh money for Jena-based technology company

bm|t beteili­gungs­man­age­ment thürin­gen gmbh has increased its stake in Dis­play­Com Track Tech­nolo­gies gmbh. Fol­low­ing a cap­i­tal increase, bm|t now owns 35% of the com­pany. The COM Meter Sys­tem devel­oped by Dis­play­Com is used for the opti­cal detec­tion and analy­sis of human move­ment. Pos­si­ble appli­ca­tions are the mea­sure­ment of adver­tis­ing effec­tive­ness and buyer behav­iour. The sys­tem has already proved suc­cess­ful in major shop­ping cen­tres. The new money will make the sys­tem suit­able for the secu­rity mar­ket. Apart from bm|t, a num­ber of pri­vate investors and tbg Tech­nolo­giebeteili­gungs­ge­sellschaft mbH have also invested in the company.
